This class is designed for Intermediate students to learn more complex techniques of sewing. Each project is designed to cover techniques that will be useful in all future projects. Some of the techniques described above are sewing invisible zippers, sewing with and reading a pattern, some clothing sewing, inserting elastic, finishing inside seams, etc. Class projects include Quilted canvas Tote with Pockets, Canvas Craft Apron, Pajama Pants/Shorts. A basic Materials Kit Fee of $20 PAYABLE TO INSTRUCTOR AT FIRST CLASS provides the basic materials (Grommets, straps, and hardware) but you will need to purchase individual supplies for your projects.
