Christina's Classes

Christina Kober didn't set out to make jewelry. She set out to understand her dad's business.

Her father owned JFF Jeweler Supply in Atlanta - a jewelry supply store where the real work wasn't selling tools, it was helping people know how to use them. Christina started working there at 14, knowing nothing about the field. What began as a summer job slowly became something she couldn't stop thinking about. She got curious. She took classes. She asked every customer and coworker every question she could think of. She went home and experimented.

In 2007, armed with a few designs and some business cards, she launched Christina Kober Designs out of the kitchen of her studio apartment in Atlanta. At their busiest, her studio was producing 12,000 pieces of jewelry a year - handmade, start to finish, by a small team of women in Nashville, TN. Nearly twenty years later, the line is carried in retail locations across the US.

Now Christina is in a different chapter - one focused on giving back what took her years to learn. She teaches because she remembers what it felt like to be the person standing in that store, hungry to understand how everything worked. She wants to be that resource for you.
