LIGHT & SHADOW: A VISUAL LANGUAGE STUDY FOR BEGINNERS TO ADVANCED
IF ART WERE A LANGUAGE, how well could you communicate? Here's a chance to fully develop your communication skills. This is another opportunity to develop & express your artistic language while treating yourself to a fun class. Learn to: "sculpt' w/ pencils" & "paint w/ charcoal", enthusiastic class geared to multiple levels: beginners through advanced. We'll explore all the Basic Elements of Art : line, shape, relationships, perspective & composition to establish the basis of your communicative skills. A world of exciting, dynamic drawings will be yours. The Project-Based Class is presented in a progressive format, with each session building on the last, so you can join anytime! Initially, students work in B/W, from instructor-provided photographs, ultimately using a wide variety of media. We work in all dry and select wet mediums.
