MTAL CLAY AND MOKUME-GANE
Mokume-gane is a Japanese metalworking process which produces an appearance of natural wood grain. Learn how to combine and mix Art Clay Copper and Art Clay Silver metal clays to create beautiful Mokume-Gane appearances in your clay designs. During this course we will explore several mokume-gane techniques to create different wood grain patterns and inlay designs using metal clay. You will be using different skills and techniques for each project. We will also cover greenware finishing, firing techniques and final finishing which will continue to develop your knowledge and a good foundation in a variety of silver clay techniques.
