Welcome to an Intermediate Bookbinding, Diamond Crisscross edition. You will be making a hardbound book with a decorative crisscross binding, resulting in diamond shapes on the spine. We will also discuss alternative techniques used in making this bound book and the terminology used so that you can continue to make more on your own. A Materials Kit Fee of $20 PAYABLE TO INSTRUCTOR AT CLASS provides the materials needed. Students need to supply their own mechanical pencil and way to take notes. All other tools are supplied for use, or you may bring your own tools based on the ADDITIONAL TOOLS section in the Supply List. See spruillarts.org for a list of supplies needed for this workshop.
