Come explore the wonderful world of painting and drawing! This class is designed for teen artists to learn classical techniques for realism while having fun developing new skills and expressing their creative imagination. Previous drawing experience is recommended prior to taking this class. New students are encouraged to join this course at any time, while returning students will continue to build skills and explore techniques as they progress. We will explore the foundations and history of art while drawing from life, photographs, and your own artistic imagination. This class is an excellent choice for AP Students, students who are developing their work for Portfolio Preparation, and focusing their skills to expand on the experimental elements of their portfolios. Students can focus on their Portfolio Projects or join the group projects, and will receive individual attention in a relaxed environment that encourages creativity and experimentation. All materials and supplies are included.
