This class is designed for beginner students to learn the basics of sewing and how to use sewing machines. Each project is designed to cover techniques that will be useful in all future projects. Some of the techniques described above are threading your machine, winding a bobbin, machine maintenance, Seam allowance, sewing straight lines/corners, and inserting a zipper. Class projects include a fabric book cover, tote bag, roll up tool pouch and a pillow.
A basic Materials Kit Fee of $30 PAYABLE TO INSTRUCTOR AT FIRST CLASS provides the basic materials (pins,scissors,rulers,ect) but you will need to purchase individual supplies for your projects.
